| X3805 PN. {Mr Northey} 3/WT15.6.28. S/W. {Sales / Derby Works} (Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) Copy to OWB. Six Cylinder Bentley. In reply to your hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 3/LG14.6.28. Wednesday next is the date fixed for trying this Bentley. As you suggest, we will meet you at Cambridge on that day at 11.30 a.m. in the Market Place. The only snag about Cambridge is that although the roads are fast, I fear that it may not be easy to find any which are also fairly bad in the surface, and I am not a bit interested in trying high speeds unless it is on a rather bad surface from the point of view of steering control. However, Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} doubtless knows this part of the World well, and may have a bad road "up his sleeve" PN. {Mr Northey} W.S. | ||
