Dear Sirs,

Some weeks ago I had a conversation with your Capt. W.O. Bentley with reference to applying a set of your patent pistons with the split skirt and internal spring to a Rolls-Royce Car engine.

Attached herewith is a blue-print of the piston (E.17792A). At the bottom of the stroke, the piston extends .625 out of the cylinder bore.

We should be pleased to hear from you whether you think you could apply the spring band to the bottom of the piston.
