EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}19/F26.4.20.

With reference to my recent complaint re faulty bonnet locks, which could be opened by inserting one's hand through the opening of the bonnet shutter, I now have to complain that in some cases the bonnets do not fit correctly so that they rest on the dashboard and bonnet beading, but actually rest on the body of the lock.

Instructions should be given that there should be at least 1/16" clearance (vertical) for the bonnet sides, so that the bonnets will always be held on to the strips by means of the bonnet clips.
