Broken white metal in a forked connecting rod discovered during the installation of a new experimental clutch.

These rods have run 20,000 miles. They are the standard Marine type rod as fitted to Production chassis and were supplied by Experimental Dept. They are laid out in the Test Dept. for inspection, will you please arrange to see them and decide what action shall be taken. Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} | ||
