Whilst examining the car recently returned from tests in France, we noticed that the silencer snout projects beyond the end of the body to an extent which makes it look prominent and rather detracts from the tidy appearance of the back of the car. Could this be moved further forward so that it is practically invisible to the eye when standing comparatively close to the car at the back ?

Another point which struck us as being unsightly at the back was the length of the petrol filler. This seems to stand up a long way above the top level of the petrol tank. We should like to see this reduced quite an appreciable amount if it is possible, and there are no technical objections. Perhaps you would kindly let me know.
