EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} (Lillie Hall) X6089 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.4/ADL6.11.32. RE : SIDE LAMP BULBS Referring to your EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn.12/T15.11.32 we regret that we cannot see our way to doing anything further with regard to the question of side lamp bulbs as this burning out trouble is unfortunately fundamental to the use of the present standard two charge scheme where the full charge is switched on in the side and tail position as well as the head, side and tail position of the switch. We are accordingly pressing for the introduction as soon as possible on production of the new three charge scheme, one or two sets of which have already been fitted to chassis.
