Dear Mr. Ward,

Thank you for the sample of carpet for the Myth. This appears to be a piece of Turner's and if so, it is the nearest that they can offer us. If it is the best match that we can obtain, we shall have to make it do, but I was hoping that possibly you might be able to find something that was a better match. I note that you have requested further patterns to be forwarded to you, so that possibly you may be fortunate in getting something better. I have in mind something which is lighter in colour with a green tone, but if it is not possible to get what we want, we shall have to be satisfied with what we can get, as this material is, I know, very difficult to obtain these days.

Regarding the ventilating window regulator, I will send you a drawing as soon as one is available. Up to the present the only thing we have seen is a sample fitting which was made up by Wilmott-Breeden's to our suggestions.

Thanking you.

Yours sincerely,
