| To HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 623. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Wym. {G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} 14/JH.12.5.38. WRAITH CAR 25.G.VI. Will you please note that on the above car the intermediate exhaust pipe has distorted sufficiently to allow it to foul the hole in the cruciform member. Will you please therefore reset pipe to clear before fitting the tubular stays. We should also like you to examine the rear silencer for cause of internal rattle. This silencer already has a skeliton baffle fitted to cure rattle and we are anxious to know why in this case it is not doing its job. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Wym. {G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} | ||
