K300A To Nor. c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Ey. Ha/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW.29.1.36. 21-G-IV has been running general tests on carburation and clutch whilst waiting for 22-G-V, the final 15,000 miles car, to be completed. Attached is Hancock's report. Generally speaking, he seems to be very satisfied with the car, but finds it difficult to judge the degree of refinement obtained owing to the dilapidated condition of the chassis generally. 22-G-V, which is a completely new car, both body and chassis, will enable a value to be established for its quality. We are having a certain amount of trouble with the accelerator pump sticking, both on 21-G-IV and GUB-5, and are treating this matter very seriously but we think it can be overcome.
