To Wn. From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3409. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ.22.3.32. With reference to the attached. Although we were supplied with some Klinger Brake Liners, we have never actually carried out any tests with this material. We are continually testing brake and clutch materials and so far we have not found anything better than Ferodo for our purpose. We agree this is affected by oil and water. We found the brake material made by Creswell's gave us the best result after going through water, but eventually it was bad for squeaks. We should be very doubtful about there being any brake material which would not be affected by oil. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
