Dear Robotham,

Thank you for your letter of the 22nd int.from which I am pleased to note that you have a friend who is interested in a 3½ litre Bentley Tourer or Drophead Coupe.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing we have not either of these models available as 3½'s, but it occurs to me that possibly your friend would be interested in No.38 on our list - chassis B.199 BL - which is a very attractive Sedanca Coupe by Barker, first registered 15th September 1934.

The car has only covered 45,000 miles and it is finished in Black with Dark Green upholstery.

It appears to have been very carefully used and I think would give first class service. The body is very modern in appearance for its date of manufacture.

Alternatively, would he be interested in a very special 4¼ litre Drophead Foursome Coupe by H.J. Mulliner, which I have just bought from Captain Barnato - chassis B.121 GP.

This car was first registered in June 1936 and the head, when down, is completely decked in. It is one of the smartest bodies I have ever seen, and the mileage is 15,000 only.
