Herewith results obtained on Brooklands with 1.EX Car fitted with a 14-tooth axle with high and low compression and a 15-tooth axle - high and low compression. The results show practically no difference in maximum speeds with the 14-tooth axle compared with the 15-tooth axle.

We are not satisfied with the results because they do not agree with the previous set of tests taken on Brooklands. The 15-tooth axle results are not as good as we obtained then.

We consider however the results show that the car fitted with the 14-tooth axle will give the best performance under all reasonable conditions.

107-MG car came on the Track when we were there and we timed that car to do a lap at 71 m.p.h. This car was fitted with a 14-tooth axle and low compression.
