r4580. Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Yng/YMJ. 8th. March 1932. Messrs. Dobbie-McInnes & Clyde Ltd., 57, Bothwell Street, GLASGOW. Dear Sirs, We wish to use your 'Farnboro' Electric Indicator to obtain a diagram from an engine which will be working with maximum pressures of approximately 2400 lbs/sq.in. at 2300 R.P.M. A differential valve will of course be necessary and we should be very obliged if you would advise us whether the differential plunger valve unit, described on Page 8 of your catalogue, would be suitable for the work provided we fit a cock between it and the engine cylinder. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
