S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X8770 CWB14/GM/17-6-27. Dear Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} With reference to my previous letters to you regarding a car for PN.{Mr Northey} he now tells me that he has been able to borrow an old Silver Ghost from Messrs. Barker, but that owing to the lack of f.w.b. etc. etc. he fears the effort of driving this will be too much for him. He however, hopes that it will suffice for 4 or 5 days, but that it will be possible for you to be able to arrange that he has a Phantom for 8 or 10 days from Wednesday or Thursday of next week. PN.{Mr Northey} will write, or more probably telegraph you, early next week giving you an address which will reach him. Would you please then advise him of the best you are able to do, that is, if you find it possible to do anything. CWB CWB. | ||
