Dear Sirs, Confirming the matters discussed with Mr. Fowler-Clark during his visit to us on Thursday last the 23rd. inst., we understand that it will be in order for us to commence supplying the 3-RRN11 type battery having the modified design of negative plate. As pointed out to Mr. Fowler-Clark, this plate will give a considerably lower charging P.D. averaging about .25 volts per 6 volt battery, and in addition the negative plate should have a longer life. We are arranging to send you a sample 6 volt battery incorporating these plates at the earliest possible moment, but we understand that your tests on this battery will not prevent us going into production immediately. With regard to the alteration to the instruction book handed to us by Mr. Fowler-Clark, we are going into this and will let you have our comments as soon as possible.
