X3589 CHASSIS - PETROL TANK. -------------------- Mr Warwick informed me that the Petrol Tank with the side filling scheme is not altogether satisfactory, owing to modifications being required on the Petrol Lever indicator. We have ordered Petrol Tanks to our standard design up to the end of "P" series. Material for "R" series is behind, and we have held this particular material up for a month already as compared with the rest of "R" series, and we would like to know from you whether there is any prospect of bringing in the new Petrol Tank with the side filler, for "R" series. We estimate that these parts will be required, under our present program, sometime in August. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [STAMP: RECEIVED] [STAMP: EFC FEB 5 1922] | ||
