x1263 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}8/KW. 11th July, 1935. T.C. Skinner, Esq., The S.U. Company Ltd., East Works, Adderley Park, Birmingham 8. Dear Mr. Skinner, Bentley Fuel Pumps. With reference to the above, our Standardisation Sheet calling for non-inductively wound coils, Bakelite valves and G.M. diaphragms will shortly be completed. As soon as you have this to hand will you kindly let me know the date you will be in a position to commence supplying pumps with the said modifications. If you will please do this it will save confusion on production and give us a definite dividing line between the two types of pump. With regard to the non-inductively wound coils, you will no doubt have to make arrangements with the manufacturers for supplies. I therefore think it would be advisable if you advised them that they will be called upon for quantities of these in the near future. Kind regards. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
