20/25 - FAN DRIVE TO SUIT DEEPER RADIATOR.
E2/M13.6.31.
X722a

We send herewith LeC. 2921. shewing the above.
This drawing has been traced from your sch No. 1491. and the modifications proposed are to avoid using a very long fan hub are to move the fan belt drive forward as shewn and to be content with a fan further from the radiator.
This scheme does in fact shew the present length of fan hub and the present fan bracket packed forward about .55".
If Derby consider the fan is now too far from the radiator it may be moved forward to an amount not exceeding .75".
The fan pulley and hub have been made in one piece out of castiron for simplicity and economy.
