Dear Sir:-

In answer to your letter of the 25th. inst., I did not get the name of the men to whom I handed the blue print in question. It was rather late in the day, and when I got to the experimental department, you had left.
I was shown into the waiting room where I spoke to a tall fair man, clean shaven and of about 25 years old. He told me that if I wrote my name and address on the back, and gave it to him, he would see that you got it. I am afraid this is the only clue I can give you.

While I think of it, would your company have any objection to my device being fitted to Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars as an accessory? I have shown it to Mr. A.P. Bradley at Brooklands, who said that he was afraid that there might be objections if he had one fitted to his car.

Awaiting your reply, I am
Yours faithfully

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Carr Brookfield
