We are returning to you under cover of our advice note No.5098 axle unit No.D.4.B.F removed from the above chassis for road shaft failure.

As this type of failure is unusual, we are of opinion that you would care to make an examination of the remainder of the unit in order to ascertain whether anything else has been distorted, as this owner's record is not a particularly good one - he having broken a connecting rod, wrecking the engine so extensively that a new unit was fitted by W in May this year.
