REVERSE GEAR TO CL.599.
Origin. To overcome difficulty of engaging 1st gear. A stationary reverse pinion is no longer picked up.
Experimental Test Report. Successfully completed normal Exp. test on road wheel dynamometer.
Road Test Report. Fitted to 18.G.IV. overcomes difficulties complained of.
Weight of Old Part. Cost of Old Part. £ 10-13-3
Weight of New Part. Cost of New Part. £ 11-11-3
Difference per Car. £ 0-18-0 Increase
