PHANTOM - CARB. FLOAT CHAMBER. X8080

We have had a number of complaints of the cover on the float chamber coming loose which has flooded petrol and stopped the engine.

We consider that if the float chamber cover is screwed up tightly this will not occur, but we still continue to receive complaints.

We recommend that some form of locking device is fitted. The form used on the aero engines was quite satisfactory.

Do you agree to our getting BY/SS.{S. Smith} to apply the aero engine form of locking device to the Phantom carburetter?

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
