Mr Johnson,

We give herewith a list of the weights of our various chassis. The weights include oil, water, petrol and tyres -

500 series 30 h.p type about 19 cwt to 20 cwt. 2128-2240
500 " 40/50 h.p. " " 24 cwt to 24¼ cwt. 2688-2716
700 " about 24½ cwt to 24¾ cwt. 2744-2772
900 to 1000 " " 25 cwt. 2800
1100,1200 to 1300 " 24¾ cwt to 25¼ cwt. 2772-2828

1550 to 1700 " 25¾ cwt. -2884
1700 " 26½ cwt to 26¾ cwt. =2968-2996

The gradual increase of weight is accounted for by the addition of the following parts to the original chassis from time to time:-

(1) Extra Oiling.
(2) Rubber Buffers.
(3) Hand Pump.
(4) Windscreen Stanchions.
(5) Mechanical Air Pump.
(6) Footboards.
(7) Shock Absorbers.
