To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} X3409 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}4/LG11.11.27. TENOID BRAKE LININGS. Further to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}6/LG26.10.27. The first car we are sending to France will now be a standard 40/50 HP. We therefore require 2 sets of brake linings to G.4574 (8 in a set) so that we can run them on our present standard rear axle as well as that of EAC.7. Will you therefore please ask these people if they can let us have these linings before the end of next week otherwise they will not get on the car for the test. Will you also ask them to be careful about the drilling as the last lot they did for us were badly done. You will remember that we have already specified the type of lining we require.
