Dear Mr. Mead,

Thanks very much for the "Horseless Carriage Days". It looks as though it would make very entertaining reading.

You will be pleased to hear that we have now completed the alterations to our house. We hope that one day you will come and stay with us, and possibly bring your wife and family. We enjoyed your last visit, but you were in a tremendous hurry.

Very Best Wishes for the New Year - I do not expect to be in the States for 12 months at any rate.
