Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} at W. X440. Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}2/BE.11.1.32. P.N. has arranged with Mr. Mackle of Stratton-Instone for a Lanchester car to be available. As regards the Fiat, Barkers have kindly promised to get one for us, and it will be ready for collection from their Showrooms at about 10.30 a.m. We propose to arrange for its collection and to take it up to Bignalls Corner, arriving there at about 11.15 a.m. We should like it to be back at Barkers, South Audley Street, by lunch time if possible. It is proposed to get hold of a model 522C. Saloon, the tax on which is £20.0.0., and the list price of which is £410. There is another short wheelbase model known as the 20/70 super compressor, which is reputed to be fast. This is listed at £495, and the tax is £20.0.0. We are told that it is not proposed to bring any more of these to this country, but we can get hold of one for you to try if you are interested, and will let us know by return. Hn{F. C.
