When at Lillie Hall you asked me to ascertain from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} whether the radiator shutters might not be made of white metal similar to the radiator itself. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} says that the shutters in question are actually made of solid white metal but the variation of colour is probably due to the polishing, and when standardising these shutters could be made to match the colour of the radiator since they are both of the same metal.
