4-WHEEL BRAKES.

We wired you today stating that the car we are testing on which we have all four brakes connected, is very much worse for jaggers on the front than the original chassis.
The jaggers are there quite bad even though the pull for operating the brakes was taken from below the axle so that there could be no question of the brakes wrapping on due to the torsion of the road springs.
We dismantled the drums and eased off the wrapping brake shoe on each side for 3" from the operating end. We did not touch the non-wrapping shoe or any other adjustment.
On testing the car after this we found that the braking on the front was very considerably reduced but there were no signs of jaggers.
A big push is being got on the floating fulcrum type of brakes. We are hoping to have a pair of these brakes fitted to a car in time for Rg.{Mr Rowledge} and myself to visit you early next week.
We are also expecting to have the Hispano car tomorrow.
We propose bringing the Hispano and one of our own 40/50 cars fitted with 4-wheel brakes to WW. We hope to arrive there on Tuesday the 20th. inst. if this is convenient to you.
