X.3481 CHASSIS REAR SPRINGS. X.3981

Referring to the question of squeaking of Rear Springs, and the proposed change of design to a wide square end of the leaf, with the exception of a radius at each corner, in the near future, Mr. Herbert Frood has been running with Ferodo Inter-leaving Material, and reports upon same as in copy of his letter attached.

As soon as the samples come to hand, I will arrange to submit them for your inspection. I wish to emphasize Mr. Herbert Frood's request that we should be careful not to break the material, which is of a distinctly brittle nature.
