X722 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}5/KT.23.11.33. P.II. COOLING EXPERIMENTS. Will you please have the following parts made for cooling experiments on P.II. in conjunction with the new narrow Harrison radiator matrix which is at present being produced. (1) Bentley type fan for P.II. This should be the same as on LeC.3650 with two exceptions, (a) The centre will have to be drilled differently to suit the P.II. fan hub. (b) The fan blades should be lengthened so that the overall fan diameter is the same as the standard Phantom II. (2) A fan as (1) but with the blades assymetrically spaced like the Chrysler fan. (3) * smaller diameter crankshaft fan pulley as attached sketch Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1215. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
