Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T24.11.21, I have a letter from a friend of mine, to whom I appealed in the hope that he would be able to give me some information as to where 2 ply paper ribbon and tinfoil ribbon such as you want could be obtained. Following is copy of his letter:- "I am sorry that I am unable to assist you "beyond telling you that I have seen both the "varnished paper and the foil in Germany, where "it is manufactured. I think the foil is "aluminium. As a matter of fact I have been "trying to find the manufacturers in Germany of "this particular paper, but have not succeeded." I have now written to Mr.Oliver Lucas, in the hope that he may be able to give us some assistance. In the meantime you will probably deem it advisable to definitely determine whether the foil is tin or aluminium. Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} | ||
