Dear Sirs, With reference to our quotation of July 19th, "EL/MES", and your letter of July the 20th, we would confirm that this matter was discussed with Mr.Grylls during the visit our Technical Manager, Mr.C.H.Smith, paid to your Works on July 27th, when it was decided that we should supply you with two bearings similar to our No.N.2943, but incorporating 15/32" diameter balls, for trial purposes. We confirm that these bearings have been put in hand under our No.N.3474, and although at the time of writing we do not think that it will be possible for us to despatch them much before the end of September, we will do everything in our power to anticipate this time.
