25 HP. CARS.

You will remember that some time ago Lord Cholmondeley ordered a 25 HP. car and asked expressly that this car should be capable of 70 M.P.H. The car supplied is the present standard 25 HP. with the following modifications :-

Compression ratio increased to 5.6
Modified camshaft 112° (without high lift)
Modified exhaust system.

The car was recently tried on Brooklands and over the measured mile the speed was 71 to 72 M.P.H. The covered body fitted to this car was extremely light, the total weight of the car being 30 cwts.
