"THE MOTOR"--continued. -2- Streamlining is undoubtedly being taken seriously there, more with a view to its potentialities in economy and running than for obtaining ultra-high speeds. The increase in lorry traffic on the autobahnen and the fact that lorries-cum-trailers are about 120 ft. long, will gradually make maintenance of speeds in excess of 70 m.p.h. fairly difficult. Technical articles in THE MOTOR of February have included the possibilities of an ultra-small car, February 7, and new cars described include the Wolseley Ten, February 14, the Mercedes-Benz programme, February 21, and the Austin Eight, February 28. Road tests are as follow:- February 7 Chrysler Royal February 14 Wolseley Ten Nash "400" February 21 Daimler 24 h.p. B.S.A. Scout Sincerely yours, L. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Pomeroy.
