URGENT. re Phantom Flexible Engine Mounting. We send you herewith:- LeC.3945 - Front engine mounting. LeC.3946 - Rear engibe mounting. These schemes represent a convenient way of trying this experimental mounting without any major alteration to the chassis. The crankcase is quite unaltered, the front mounting being attached to the front/engine arms. The rubbers shown on LeC.3945 are what we think will be required. To get the job moving quickly however we agree to try the smaller ones, to EX.14461/2. Provision must be made for locating the engine endways. To do this it would appear that links running from the front engine feet to the crossmember at the rear of the radiator is a simple solution. We are making a sketch of this. Drawings to BY.{R.W.
