CHASSIS LUBRICATION. BENSPORT.

So far the designs for Bensport, in as much as many of them are the same as for Peregrine, have been made to take centralised chassis lubrication fittings. Two systems of supplying the lubricant have been mentioned in connection with this car. One is the use of pipes to conveniently placed oilers to which can be attached a pressure gun, and the other is a centralised system with a dashboard pump of proprietory make.

We favour the latter as being more up-to-date, and as it makes the parts of the two cars more interchangeable. At the same time it would appear to cost little more if any than the grouped nipple scheme.

We therefore propose for the first cars at any rate we fit the latest pattern of Luvax nipple and a Luvax Pump of which we enclose herewith a print. We were unable to show this pump on the dashboard which we have sent to you recently as we had not then received the blue print, but we suggest that it be placed in a similar position to that on Peregrine.

We have considered the Tecalemite Pump which is smaller but not so suitable as it is designed for a different system of supply at the points.
