WORLD RADIO LIMITED EDGWARE ROAD, LONDON, N.W.2 NEAR STAPLES CORNER 'Phones-GLADSTONE 4255-6 'Grams-PAPELIAN Phone LONDON Handwritten note: /6153. YOUR REF. November 6th 1936 OUR REF. W40/910/R.{Sir Henry Royce} Handwritten note: Car radio Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. Attention - Mr. West. Electrical Research Dept. Dear Sirs: The Writer, who is the owner of a 1935 Rolls-Bentley, can confidently recommend our American Bosch Car Radio, as it is the easiest set to fit to either Rolls-Royce or Rolls-Bentley cars. No suppressors of any kind are used on the plugs or on the ignition coil or distributor, and we have already sold a very large number of our Sets to the Rolls-Royce Coachbuilders. Recently your Showroom have ordered one set, and we are bringing this Set to your notice as the American Bosch will definitely not interfere with the layout of your wiring or upset the performance of your product in any shape or form. The current consumption of our Set is only 2.6 amps. on 12-volt, and this we consider very low in view of the fact that an energised speaker is used. As an electrical engineer, you might be interested in our House Set, which can be supplied at £6.10.0. nett, and this Set has Long, Medium, and a very wonderful Shortwave which brings in American stations as good as the local station. This Set should be of interest to your Staff. The Andrea Company have been making Sets for 16 years, and are probably one of the largest firms in the world in this class of business. Yours faithfully, p.p. WORLD RADIO LIMITED. R.M. Papelian.
