To improve reliability. Experimental Test Report. The proposal is to fit a scheme using a multiple plate friction clutch in place of the present complicated Bijur scheme. Road Test Report. This scheme was given a 1000 starts under all sorts of conditions. This we consider is equivalent to more than 10,000 miles under normal conditions.
