Dear Sirs, We acknowledge your letter of the 9th inst, ref: RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs}2/JH, and are pleased to note that you have received the Screen Wiper for the De-Mister Stream Ducts. As regards the special Dynamo, we are afraid we have not progressed very far with the Drawings for the new Brackets, these have been started and we are now doing our best to complete them during the coming week when they will be sent to you for your guidance in connection with the patterns for the Brackets. The two pairs of Bentley Sidelamps are well in hand in the Designs Department and it is hoped that we shall complete these before the works close for the Christmas Holidays. Answering your query re 5 Core Cable for carrying current for the Trafficators and Horns on the Steering Column. We have a standard 5 Core M.C.H. Cable for Steering Column use but it has 5 cores of 14-012 Cable and we think this is too small for the Horn circuit, although it is O.K. for the Trafficator Circuit. The outside diameter of these 5 Core Cables is .305". The only way we could meet your requirements in this direction and conform to your available space, namely, .35" diameter is to have a special Cable made, carrying two | ||
