Dear Mr. Skinner,

Thank you for your letter of July 20th re Petrol Pumps.

We fully appreciate the fact that it is possible that we shall have no further trouble with suspect Pumps at present in service, but at the same time we shall feel more confident if we know that all Pumps have the correct core material.

Under the circumstances we would rather keep to our original arrangement, that is for you to supply us with as many replacement Pumps as possible, when we will have them changed and suspect Pumps returned to you for rectification.

We are sending to you to-day under separate cover one Petrol Pump, which will you please examine the core and correct if necessary. Will you please return same as soon as possible as it will be required within a day or so.

With regard to the new Banjo Connection on the Carburetter Float Chamber Covers, will you please in future have these filed and trimmed up ready for plating. We should also like to receive larger quantities at a time, instead of the present arrangement; we can then build up the drain pipes in advance and so save delay.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
