BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7460. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M12.2.29. SS.{S. Smith} PETROL TANK SINGLE FILTER. X.4037 X.3701 We send herewith N.sch.2820 shewing the single filter without a two-level device as recently instructed by R.{Sir Henry Royce} In order to be able to incline the filter considerably to deal with max. bodies with a small turn-under we suggest that the whole at the top should not be materially less than at present. The sump is as now. We suggest that exactly the same pieces should be used on the 20 HP. except for a somewhat reduced length. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
