PEREGRINE II.
RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}10/BE31.8.32.

Section. Reason.

Crankshaft. Instructions required for details. Balance weights, oil caps etc.
The instructions are for 4 crankshafts having 4" stroke and 2 having 4.125" stroke, but the position has altered so many times that we are proceeding slowly.

Connecting Rods. It has not definitely been decided whether the rods are to be machined or partly machined, also if they are to be of the bored type (which means that the oil pipe for the little end will be deleted and the rod drilled). No work is therefore going forward.

Crankshaft Damper. There is still some doubt as to what type of crankshaft damper is to be used, therefore instructions are outstanding.

Carburetter and No instructions issued.
Induction Pipes.

Controls. Design is still outstanding.

Flywheel and Clutch. Certain instructions have been issued, but there is a design alteration pending on account of the high cost of this unit, so therefore only one set is being produced for experimental development.
