1021 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.1/SW. 15th August, 1941. Messrs. Wilmot Breeden, Ltd., Eastern Works, Camden Street, BIRMINGHAM. For the attention of Mr. Spicer. Dear Mr. Spicer, Confirming the arrangements made during your visit here on Wednesday last which were as follows :- Ventilating Window Regulator. The cover plate to be 4" long by 1.5/16" wide, the ends shaped on the line that you suggested, and to have one screw hole for No.6 screws at each end. To be flat and not raised as the sample which you brought. Ventilating Window. It was arranged that you would prepare a scheme for this window that would be suitable for your method of manufacture. The width of the frame work to be kept to a minimum and not to exceed those that we are at present fitting. Luggage Boot Lock. We have decided that the cover plate will not be necessary on this lock, but that two additional clench nuts would be required for fixing. It was arranged that you would have the lock which we handed to you modified on these lines. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE, LTD., | ||
