Dear Sirs,

The points raised in your letter of the 19th. inst. Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}12/KT have been carefully noted, and we will put a sample pump in hand as suggested.

The Barrel, we agree, would be better chromium plated.

Regarding the handle, we are not very clear as to whether the criticism arises from design, material, or colour. Would a nicely polished Mahogany handle of similar design meet the case?

Referring to the Foot Grip, we should have appreciated some indication as to what is in your mind. It has often been criticised but after actual use, in every case, objection has been withdrawn. It has stood the test of time. You realise of course that very little pressure is needed to hold the pump down. The usual hinged type are very flimsy and not so good in other ways. We could offer alternative designs but, in our opinion, nothing better. Perhaps you will be good enough to let us know your opinion in detail before we make the sample.

That you seem convinced we can make this pump worthy of your Car is heartening to us, and we should like to assure you of our best effort.

Yours faithfully,

KINSMAN LIMITED,
H.W. Chapman .......Director.
