Dear Mr. Ward,

With reference to our conversation the other day re the effect of quantity on cost, we attach a curve compiled from the figures given in Mr. Chas. Engelbach's paper showing his opinion as to how the price of the motor-car varies with the quantity to be fabricated.

The most interesting feature of this curve, in our opinion is the fact that the difference between producing 500 and 5,000 is the difference between £260 and £190 each.
