Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr. Bowering.
In reference to the diaphragm material which you have been testing for sometime, we have found in one or two cases where this has been fitted to pumps that there appears to be an excessive amount of corrosion in the mouth of the cast iron pot. We do not know definitely whether this is connected with the diaphragm, but it would be interesting when you have finished your tests to look out for this point before coming to any decision as to the suitability of this material for general production.
Yours faithfully,
For THE S.U. COMPANY.
R Leslie Kent
