From BJ to HS regarding arranging a car for Colonel Fell's visit to 'R'.

X5770 BJ7/E20/1/27 I saw Colonel Fell yesterday and he wants to go down to see R. {Sir Henry Royce} about one or two things, and I said that we should probably have a car going down in which he and his wife could travel. Can you conveniently arrange for a car to be available for this purpose in two or three weeks' time? If necessary, we would send a special car down with him, as we want him to have the benefit of the drive, as he has been so extremely kind to us in the past. If you would care to discuss this with me on Tuesday afternoon, when I am in Derby, I should be glad to see you. If not, perhaps, you could let me know what car you would suggest. BJ. | ||
