Valve Gear Silence on the Bentley.

We have made definite progress with the insulation rocker cover on the Bentley engine.

To complete the investigation we want to fit noise insulation shields in aluminium on the exhaust and inlet sides of the engine, as we now find that the majority of the noise left is coming from these points. If you could arrange for a Tinsmith to be available, we could show him exactly what is required.

At the same time, will you please fit to 1-B-IV, the car in question, a front end shield and nearside engine guard. The car has been running without these for a long time.
