EFC. c. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. Mr. Bock. X8672 BY2/G.21.11.27. 40/50 HP. CHASSIS. DYNAMOS. Referring to EFC.4/T.16.11.27. I have gone very carefully into the position, but in view of the fact that it would be necessary for us to have special copper drawn for the 28 bar Commutator and that we have instructed the narrow brush machine for the next series, it would not be possible to use the suggestion you put forward as a means of getting the dynamos rather more quiet before the narrow brush machine is available. We are pressing for the tools and the production of the narrow brush holder. Immediately these are available we propose to bring the narrow brush machine into production for the second half of the present series. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
