c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW.
c. Mr. Payne.
c. A.I.D.
c. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}

With reference to our EFCl/T25.1.27, under cover of which we handed you two Watford type IS.12 magnetos Nos. 83119/20 which we had received back from Messrs. North with modifications, particularly the substitution of a rubber base material distributor in place of bakelite, and which in the aforementioned note we requested you to have put on X.F.12. We understand that it may now be considered to be agreed to by the A.I.D. that this change should be effected, and that the two axial distributor machines Nos.83134/5 which will then be removed from the engine should be forwarded to Messrs. Norths for bringing up-to-date, i.e. made up similar to Nos. 83119/20.

We should be pleased to have the A.I.D. definite confirmation that the returning of the other two magnetos to Messrs. Norths for this purpose is agreed to by them.
